Marcin Sajek studied biotechnology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He obtained a master degree in 2008. In 2016 he obtained Ph.D. in Institute of Human Genetics, Polish Academy of Sciences. His main interests focus on posttranscriptional gene regulation by RNA binding proteins and various aspects of RNA biochemistry and biology. During his 1 year visit in Tom Tuschl lab at The Rockefeller University in New York, he got familiar with several experimental and computational approaches for studying RNA-protein interactions.
